COMMUNITY SAVINGS BANK 4TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE

Community sponsored its 4th Annual Holiday Food Drive this past November and December to benefit the Irving Park Food Pantry. Our basket and donation box were filled by our generous customers and staff. Community matched contributions with $1 for each food item and $1 for each dollar collected. Hundreds of food items and $2,000 in cash were donated to the pantry. Thank you!

Community celebrated 65 YEARS OF TOTAL SERVICE this past October 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Customers, neighbors and friends were invited to stop in to enjoy refreshments, enter a raffle for cash prizes and spin the prize wheel during the 3-day celebration.

A Shred-a-thon was held on Saturday, October 3rd as part of the festivities. Customers and non-customers had the opportunity to shred old documents to help combat identity theft. A mobile shredder was parked in Community’s parking lot and shredded documents on the spot. The entire truck was filled up by Noon!

“We enjoyed having so many of our loyal customers, neighbors and friends stop in for our Open House, celebrating Community’s 65th anniversary. It was gratifying for me to see many people I haven’t seen in years and to meet many new friends and neighbors."

Dane Cleven, President and Chairman
