Surcharge-Free withdrawals at over 32,000 additional ATMs!
Nearly 1,000 Allpoint ATMs located in Chicagoland.
Community customers now have the ability to make surcharge-free withdrawals at an additional 32,000 ATM machines nationwide, with nearly 1,000 of them being in Chicagoland. This is due to Community's new participation in the Allpoint network. Allpoint ATMs are located in many area stores, such as Target and COSTCO and literally hundreds of other merchants. STARsf ATMs are also surcharge-free to Community customers and offer thousands of locations nationwide with hundreds in Chicagoland! Home Buying Seminar
A home buying seminar was held on April 26th. Presentations were entirely in Spanish with topics of interest to first-time home buyers.
Participants: Maria Ayala and Marisol Gaytan of Community, Joseph A. Del Campo, attorney and Zoraida Motos, realtor.
Home Mortgage Seminar
A home mortgage seminar was held on May 17th.
Topics included: First home mortgages, how to refinance a mortgage and home equity loans and lines of credit.
Community's Art Neville led the seminar which was followed by a question and answer period.
Shred-A-Thon
Shred-A-Thon was held on June 7th. Customers and area residents were invited to stop by Community to shred old documents containing personal
information.
Shredding documents is a very good way to help protect
against identity theft. Another free Shred-A-Thon will be held on Saturday,
October 4th.
Tu Casa, Tu Dinero
Tu Casa, Tu Dinero was held at the UIC Pavilion on
March 16th. Representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank, Banco de Mexico, the Mexican Consulate in Chicago and Community covered how money can be sent to Mexico affordably with Directo a Mexico.
