Marisol Gaytan serves as Community’s “Community Outreach Officer.” She is responsible for organizing and coordinating events that promote economic education and financial literacy for area residents. She also acts as liaison and contact officer between various neighborhood organizations and the bank. In addition, Marisol is very involved with planning and staffing community events at the bank. Recent events she coordinated have included Community’s “Home Ownership in Troubled Times” seminars in the spring of 2009, the bank’s “Back to School” celebration in August, the bank’s 65th Anniversary Celebration in October 2009, and numerous other educational and promotional events.
