CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAYS - SEPTEMBER 30 & OCTOBER 1, 2011
Community Savings Bank held "Customer Appreciation Days" at its main office on September 30th and October 1st. The bank took this opportunity to thank its customers for their patronage, and to host many neighbors who stopped in the office. About 850 people stopped in during the event. Everyone attending was invited to spin the prize wheel in the lobby for a promotional prize. Children in attendance received a "goodie bag," and refreshments were served to all. Employees of the bank had an opportunity to meet and to serve those visited the office. As part of the celebration on Saturday, October 1st, customers and non-customers were given the opportunity to shred old checks, bank statements and other documents containing personal information. A mobile industrial shredder was parked in the bank's main parking lot for personal papers to be shredded on the spot. Destruction of old documents is recommended to help combat identity theft. An "identity Theft Prevention" raffle was held for those who shredded documents. There were five winners of $50 each. According to Dane Cleven, President and Chairman of Community, "The recent Customer Appreciation Days provided a good opportunity for us to thank many loyal customers and to meet many residents of the area. I think many who attended appreciated the opportunity to shred old documents to help combat identity theft." Cleven added: "The event is another example of Community's commitment to be Your Personal Neighborhood Bank."
